For those of us connected with Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, the Year of the Monkey – starting on 19th February 2016 – is a special year that comes only once every 12 years. Bhutan has been personally blessed by Guru Rinpoche’s presence and, among all the gurus and devas, Guru Rinpoche is closest to the hearts of the Bhutanese people. To strengthen our connection with Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, especially next year, we hope to complete 100 million recitations of the Seven-Line Prayer. Rinpoche will give us teachings to help us understand why we supplicate, how we supplicate, what supplication means, and particularly what a supplication to Guru Rinpoche is.

"...It makes me think of a famous quote by K. Vonnegut（Mother Night, I think that was the book）：'We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.' Also, another "mask" thing comes to my mind. "Time will crawl" by David Bowie. You can find the lyrics online. It talks about the mask. Can you relate to Vonnegut or Bowie（or both, or none）quotes/concepts a bit, is there something resounding in this two references, connecting them to the movie you’re coming up with？"
