Dzongzar Khyentse Rinpoche was intived by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche to give a two-day teaching in Seattle on June 25, 26.



I asked two questions, the first one: Rinpoche had mentioned at the beginning of the course that the topic of "Depart from 4 attachments" is base on Mahayana teachings.



So would Rinpoche plz give a brief explanation regarding the differences between Mahayana teachings as opposed⋯⋯ to the Vajrayana(Tantra) teachings regarding the departing from 4 attachment?




這次宗薩欽哲仁波切應竹慶本樂仁波切的邀請來到西雅圖開示兩天,我問了兩個問題:第一個問題是,此次開示課程主題為遠離四執著,仁波切一開始就說明本次課程是從大乘教法的觀點來開示,可否請仁波切為大家簡單解釋金剛乘與大乘對遠離四執著的不同觀點?

Dzongzar Rinpoche answered: "Basically, we should understand that, even upon listening to Buddha's teachings, different students comprehended the dharma in different ways, and this is the key point where Tantra teachings are coming from.



For example, even when Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths, when mentioned the Truth of suffering, some students comprehended it as samsara is a place full of suffering and all beings inhabit in it are under the torment of suffering, h



owever, students who possessed Tantric capasities comprehended it as the samsaric world is really the pure realm in the present moment and suffering is (in the nature) great bliss.



Therefore, we should realize that the distinctions of teachings really depend on the different capasities of the students."




宗薩仁波切答道:「基本上我們應該瞭解,即便是佛陀所說的法,不同根器弟子就會聽到不同的法,這就是密乘教法開演出來的關鍵點。比如即使連佛陀開示四聖諦時,說到苦諦,有的弟子所領會的就是輪迴是痛苦世間,眾生受著痛苦,但是屬於密乘根器的弟子的領會卻是輪迴世間當下即是淨土,痛苦即是大樂。所以我們要認清,教法的分別端賴於弟子根器的不同。」
