GENERATION OF BODDHICITTA 

Ho! Mesmerized by the sheer variety of perceptions, which

are like the illusory reflections of the moon in water,

Beings wander endlessly astray in samsara’s vicious cycle.

In order that they may find comfort and ease in the luminosity

and all-pervading space of the true nature of their minds,

I generate the immeasurable love, compassion, joy and equanimity

of the awakened mind, the heart of Bodhicitta.

吙！

只因覺知多樣而受惑，       

猶如水中月影此如幻，

眾生無盡徘徊輪迴中。

為使眾生得安樂自在，

於其自心本性明廣空，

我發無量慈、悲與喜、捨，

此乃菩提心要覺醒心。

吙！由於受到覺知的多樣多變所迷惑──而這些覺知就像是水中如幻的月影，眾生因此毫無止盡地在輪迴的惡性循環中徘徊。

為了讓眾生得以在自心真正本性的明性和遍入空性中找到舒坦和自在，我生起菩提心之要，那覺醒心的無量慈、悲、喜、捨。

ABOUT DZONGSAR KHYENTSE RINPOCHE

Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche was born in Bhutan in 1961 and was recognized as the second reincarnation of the nineteenth-century master Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. He has studied with and been empowered by some of the greatest Tibetan masters of this century, notably the late Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and the late Dudjom Rinpoche. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche supervises his traditional seat of Dzongsar Monastery in Eastern Tibet, as well as newly established colleges in India and Bhutan. He has also established meditation centers in Australia, North America and the Far East.
