The practice of Zen is
to eat, breathe, cook, carry water, and scrub the toilet — to infuse every act
of body, speech, and mind — with mindfulness, to illuminate every leaf and
pebble, every heap of garbage, every path that leads to our mind’s return home.
禪的修習指的是不論飲食、呼吸、煮飯、挑水或是刷洗廁所,都要將正念注入身、語、意的每一個行動,照亮每一片葉子、每顆小石子、每一堆垃圾,以及每一條通往回歸自心本然來處的道路。
