3rd Sep 2014 - Sagyum Kusho Rigdzin Wangmo needs nothing from us, but for our benefit and accumulation here at Kathog Baylangdra Monastery, we will do Dorsem Tshok offering every week and make butter lamps offerings every day until the 49th day.
A beautiful rainbow was seen here today front of my house in Thimphu as i came out of the (Monlem Prayers) for Sagyum Kusho.

Dudjom Rinpoche , passed away today , on the 27th of August at 5.55pm, at the moment she in a state of Thugdam . In keeping with her wishes , there is going to be no grand ceremonies held . We would like to thank you for all the love and support . At this time , in keeping with tradition , we will be observing the 49 days.

慈誠羅珠堪布百日大放生（一）慈誠羅珠堪布每年9月份開始，在漢地組織為期三個月左右的集中大規模放生活動，將大量動物從人們嘴邊救贖出來，放歸自然。在解放動物的同時，呼喚著人們的良知，洗刷、拯救著人類的靈魂，越來越多麻木的靈魂被喚醒著、覺悟著。 規模之大，歷史罕見！震撼人心，功德無量！慈悲博愛，堪稱典範！

五明佛學院副院長——慈誠羅珠堪布，發起每年舉行的百日大放生開始了！

慈誠羅珠堪布將在今後的每一天主持帶領放生，連續100天，時間：8月31日—12月8日，每天不間斷。​

俱舍論說：「萬人共造善惡因，每人均得萬人果」。因此，緣「百日大放生」的殊勝福田，隨喜參加放生就可以圓滿無法計數的福德資糧。參加共修所放生物命的數量，是一個人一輩子也不可能達到的。​

慈城羅珠堪布開示放生功德：​

每一個參加放生的人，都能得到同樣的善根，這在經書裏有記載。譬如我們一百個人去殺一個人，這個罪過不是我們一百個人分，而是每一個人都有殺一個人的完整罪過。行善也是這樣。譬如說一百個人去放一條生命，每一個人都有放一條生命的功德，不是這一個功德一百個人分。我們現在已經放了將近兩個億的生命，參加放生的每一個人都能得到這份功德。這種善法本身就不可思議，如果再加上如理如法地發心和回向，功德就更不可思議，一定能夠清淨我們所有的罪業。​

"Unless you have made a clear decision to turn your back on samsara, then however many prayers you recite, however much you meditate, however many years you remain in retreat, it will all be in vain. You may have a long life, but it will be without essence. You may accumulate great wealth, but it will be meaningless.
